Must do! We completed the Salt Pans segway tour with Javier. We have done a few tours elsewhere before but this was by far the best in terms of scenery and guide. Javier gave superb training and tips to make life easy so he would be good for a beginner. The scenery was amazing and Javier gave us lots of information where appropriate. Lots of photo opportunities and generally just great fun.
We also hired electric bikes for a full day from Kevin. Again very helpful and gave us ideas of where to go. The bikes make the hills of Gozo far more accessible and it is a great way to see places you couldn't get to so easily by car. You get a helmet, training and a lock so you can secure bikes wherever you want to stop. I would recommend these to anyone who can ride a bike. You don't have to be an avid cyclist to manage either (only 2nd time I'd been on a bike in over 20 years!). My partner loved it so much he hired one again a few days later for more exploring.
Both activities I will do again on my next visit.

Such a great way to spend the afternoon in Gozo! I’d never ridden an e-bike before so i didn’t really know what to expect but they were very fun and easy to ride. But the highlight of our tour was our amazing guide Steve, he catered to all of our needs and has impeccable knowledge of the island. This was the highlight of our holiday in Malta so far!

Hovar 18th May Santa Lucija Our Segway tour was absolutely awesome, not only did Peter have all 3 of us first timers up and running quickly and safely with excellent tuition and guidance, but his on-going local knowledge and insights along the way was brilliant. We came away buzzing and highly recommend Gozo Segway to all including anyone who has never done it before. Thank you so much Peter, we will definately be doing Segway again and again !!!

Great fun for any age group and a must to get to know the island

A great way to see Gozo We are both in our seventies and have not done much biking recently. The e bikes were easy to use and helped us get to places we could not have reached on our own.
Among other things we saw, we went along a cliff top path with sensational views, stopped at Xlendi for a something to eat and a a walk along the sea front while Dario (our guide) looked after the bikes. We had hoped to have a swim but it was a bit windy so we had an ice cream instead. We also visited a beautiful church, in Munxar I think - I could be wrong about that! All the roads were quiet and Dario made sure throughout that we were within our comfort zone physically, stopped at frequent intervals and generally looked after us brilliantly. Dario is amazingly knowledgeable about Gozo and speaks better English than us! On the morning before the ride we had time to visit the Citadel in Victoria, which is wonderful and at the end of the ride Kevin drove us back to the Fastferry to Valletta. All in all a great day. We would recommend the e bike ride as both a really enjoyable experience and a wonderful way of getting to know this beautiful island.

No better way to discover the real Gozo Javier our guide set the pace for really relaxing tour off the beaten track. We visited sights you cannot reach easily and certainly not via a bus tour. Had a swim and a great lunch eating local pizza and muffins with spectacular views over the island. Getting around on a Segway is easy when you get the hang of it, and the guide was able to quickly assess the ability of our group and choose the route accordingly. Challenging at times but never too difficult. We all really enjoyed the trip and feel lucky to have spent time on a segway seeing what makes Gozo tick.

Great! We have just been on a beautiful segway trip with Peter as a guide. It was our first time on a segway and we got enough time to learn in the beginning. He was very patient and nice, I am pregnant and he took a nicer route because of that. He offered us a drink and was not stressed at all when we where a bit slow in the hills. Great experience! He told us a lot of history and showed us beautiful spots. I highly recommend it! We payed 35€ pp and it was worth every cent.

A great way to see Gozo I'll start by saying that Petr (Prague via Ireland then Gozo) was a fantastic guide; knowledgable, funny and bloody talented at riding a Segway. We started our morning in Marsalforn and took the coast road past Salt Pans to Ta Pinu shrine among others sights. Petr took a go pro video of the day at no additional charge. His patience was boundless even when run over by another Segway rider! A fun experience which is all in the hips.

This Ebike tour is the best way to see Gozo. After going on this tour I can’t imagine seeing the island any differently. It was a unique experience. And the guide, Kevin, was great; he was very prepared and he knew everything about Gozo. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit the island. I honestly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day on Gozo; it surpassed any expectation.

Ask for Javier! Writing a review seems almost a waste of time with 310 out of 312 giving a rating of Excellent. I'll happily add to that total for what it's worth. Great way to see the island. Javier our guide was fantastic. 4 hours for €44 each including the slightly scary trip to the lighthouse. It's steep and high and coming down takes nerve or Javier to help! Just the best half day you could spend on Gozo. Fantastic fun and the best way to see the island. Book it.

Great Segway experience We thoroughly enjoyed our Segway tour with Peter. Our initial training was very good and prepared us well for the combination of road and off road tracks, dispelling any nerves that we may have had at the start. The sights were amazing and Peter was very informative of the area and it's history. This was a great experience and one of the highlights of our holiday. Highly recommend this experience.

Steve and Kevin were both great. Steve was our guide and was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. The E Bikes were great but the regular ones seemed to be easier to use than the bikes designed for women. I would totally recommend this tour.

This is a great experience and well worth your time! We only had one day in Gozo, and never would’ve been able to see so much of the island without our talented, knowledgeable bike tour guide. Incredible sights and stops, you will not regret it!

Nous avons passé une super journée. quel bonheur de circuler avec des vélos électriques. On a pu faire beaucoup de kilomètres et donc voir plein de choses, passer par des chemins qui seraient inaccessibles en voitures. C'est très bien rythmé, Kevin prends le temps de répondre à nos questions et malgré les difficultés de la journée (une petite chute, une chaîne cassées) il a sû gérer rapidement les problèmes et tout ça en gardant le sourire et une énergie positive. On a partagé le tour avec un autre couple adorable également. Du beau temps, un paysage magnifique, des personnes bienveillantes, vous mélangez le tout, que voulez-vous obtenir d'autre qu'un super souvenir ?

50th Birthday Treat We were unsure as to how we would react to this, but to be honest we got the hang of it straight away. There is lesson prior to the tour. The tour guide was very good and very knowledgeable. I would say do it and is a must as you do not see parts of Gozo whilst in a car or on foot, pretty amazing way to see Gozo. We intend to do another tour on our next trip. Keep it up Kevin.

Lovely! Stunning fews, great background info to the spots we visited and to the culture and people of Gozo. I was a bit skeptical about it being to hot and the hills being to high for me as I am not such a bike driver. The bikes were very solid and worked perfectly and the guide kept a moderate pace so it was very delightful and easy to attend.
I can highly recommend this tour as the people there are being very heartily. It’s also a good way to connect with others and make new friends.

5 hours of fun We were a group if 3 couples led by Peter. We went on an unscheduled tour, starting from San Lawrence and heading north to the lookout tower before heading around the West coast and ending on the south. Lots of riding and some walking as we went to a remote temple. Peter was very knowledgable showing us points of interest on the way. Thoroughly recommend. Segways take you places cars cannot.

Probably the best experience we had in Malta so far on our trip. I highly recommend it for those who love to cycle, explore unique places, and meet new friends. Next time I’m in Gozo, I will definitely do it again. Kevin is super friendly, funny, and he will definitely look after you during the experience. So happy we did this, we are still buzzing from the endorphin trip.

Élvezetes Cross Country segway túra Mivel csak egy napunk volt Gozo-n ezért választottuk ezt a túrát, hogy jobban megismerjük Gozo turisták számára kevésbé látogatott részeit is. Javier nagy türelemmel és kedvességgel vezetett minket az esős, szeles időben. Az időjárás ellenére is nagyon élveztük, különösen a helyi régi pékséget, az út menti gyümölcsfákat, a szép panorámát. A 4 órás segway-túra sokkal kevésbé fárasztó, mint gyalogolni vagy akár buszozni!

I’m so glad I booked this experience. It was the highlight of my trip to Malta/Gozo and I’d highly recommend it to anyone. I’m a keen road cyclist and was keen to experience an eBike. They’re great and made the hill climbs effortless! Kevin is so knowledgable and passionate about Gozo and this makes for an extra special experience. More than just a Segway experience Many thanks to Xavier for our tour of the Ta Cenc area on Wednesday. We were delighted to find you had prepared well for our trip by providing water and sunscreen. The training was excellent and out confidence grew quickly meaning that we could concentrate on the many things you pointed out along the way. We bought some prickly pear marmalade at your recommendation and love it! Xavier showed us many of the flora and fauna of the area and knew the history of the various buildings near and far. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Super Segway Tour We had a lovely time with GozoSegwayTours. Kevin always answered any queries leading up to the day in a timely manner. Our Guide, Javier was great at explaining the ins and out of a segway and such a good sport when it came to taking pictures/videos of the group. A very good experience through and through! Das Highlight in unserem Gozo-Urlaub Die Salt Pans to Ta`Pinu Tour war wunderschön, absolut empfehlenswert und von der Distanz ca. 14 km genau richtig, nicht zu kurz und nicht zu lang.
Die beiden Tour-Guides waren super nett und außerordentlich hilfsbereit.

Fantastic way to see some highlights of Gozo and brilliant fun We booked the cross-country tour and absolutely loved everything about it. We had a very early start from Valletta in Malta ( a bus trip and ferry to Gozo) and were met at the ferry port by Javier with segways. We were joined by another couple, who like us had been on a segway before so after a safety briefing and short practice we set off.

Javier was a great guide: friendly, knowledgeable about the island and it's history and obviously expert on the segway. He took us to villages and local beauty spots and fantastic view points. We had lots of stop offs for photos and drinks, had pizza for lunch from a local bakery and a swim in the sea.

This was a long tour but the time flew by.

The tour is mainly off road and is brilliant. I would recommend it as a great activity and a perfect way see the beautiful Gozo. Thank you Javier!

This way of exploring Gozo is highly recommended! Beautiful scenery all over, off-road (if you dare) takes you to more remote secret places. Swimming in the crystal-clear water was eminent. Thank you, Lee for giving us this fantastic experience, even my two teenage children were excited-)
