Thank's a lot to Ravière our guide who was very patient , friendly and made us discover thé beaute off this island Gozo as well as the kindness of these habitants .hope you Will have him during your segway tour .
a very testy pizza on thé feet of an ancien windmill on thé top of a hill with a splendide view over Gozo
You must climb on top of thé roof of the Rotunda of Xewkija 4€ and get up under the bells at the top : becarefull no security... Not for children Enjoy!!!!
This experience will be one of my best during My passed holidays (59 year old lady)
    Thankyou Ravières

  • 5 star ratingSanap Cliffs, Munxar Segway Tour We had a great day yesterday on the Gozo Segway tour. Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gozo to do. Our guide / instructor was Peter Checkmate & he was brilliant. His knowledge of the Island was 1st class & his instructor skills were 2nd to none. Make sure you ask for him when doing on one of these tours.
Many thanks again for the great day Peter, regards from all the Bradley's (Stepaside, Ireland)

  • 5 star ratingFantastic way to see Gozo We took part in the Cross Country tour which was fantastic! We would definitely recommend this as an alternative way of touring the Island.

Having been to Gozo many times before this is by far the best way I have seen some of the highlights of the Island and is good value for money.

The Pizza lunch stop on the tour is great and the iced water that is provided on the tour is a nice touch particularly in the strong sun.

Peter was an easy going guide and is clearly very passionate about the Segway and the tours.

  • 5 star ratingOne of the best tours we have EVER been on! We travel a lot and our bike tour in Gozo was one of the best city tours we have ever been on! Javier, who normally does the Segway tours, took us all over the island and stopped at some of his favorite spots around the island as well as whenever we wanted to stop and take pictures. I felt like this was such a personalized tour and Javier did such a wonderful job finding things that would be interesting for my husband and I but also for our two year old daughter (she had a BLAST!).

The island is very hilly but the ebikes made the 4 hour trek around the island so easy and we were able to see so much. One of our favorite parts of the tour was the lunch stop, at a traditional bakery, for pizza and other snacks.

We stayed in Valetta and had to take the bus to Cirkewwa and then the ferry to Gozo. This was very easy to navigate and very inexpensive ( I want to say the bus was 1.50 per person, one way, and then the ferry was only like 4.50 per person, round trip). Javier met us at the terminal and we left shortly after a few instructions on using the ebikes.

I cannot boast about this tour enough, awesome tour guide, awesome views and information, and VERY family friendly. Javier was awesome and I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience Gozo in a unique way. Seriously if you are travelling to Malta, book this tour!

  • 5 star ratingBest fun and awesome views This trip was recommended by a friend, so my husband and I booked the trip online a couple of days before. The response to my email was quick and informative. We chose to do the Ta Cenc tour.
We arrived early and waited for the tour guide who has just returned with his previous tour.

Xavier taught us the principles of using a Segway, put a helmet on us and gave us a bottle of water.
We practised going up and down a hill and then we set off. It was the best hour and a half, with the wind in our hair, we saw some amazing views. When we finished I wanted to do it all over again!! Do it!!!!!

We then rode through the picturesque countryside in the valley ending up back where we started.
It was an exhilarating experience and a great thing to do as a group of friends.

  • 4 star ratingAn ecological place of high importance As we own a small apartment on the Island of Gozo, which we purchased for our retirement days, we make it a point to seek and find places of interest to visit on regular weekends. It was a lovely sunny day when we decided to head towards Saint Raphael Lake (San Raflu). The lake lies in a small rural area just outside the locality of Kerċem, at the south-west of the island of Gozo. It is approximately 148 metres above sea level and it is surrounded by two of the most important bays in Gozo; the Dwejra Bay to the left, and the Xlendi Bay to the right. The whole area is situated on layers of Upper, Middle and Lower Globigerina limestone (Franka ta’ Fuq, tan-Nofs u ta’ Taħt), which make up the base of the whole San Raflu area. The view is breath taking.

San Raflu has always been a center for agricultural activity, which has grown in the twentieth century. It is called San Raflu u Sarraflu most probably after the Archangel St. Raphael, although the reason for this is quite unknown. The area centers around a man-made hole which gathers water and is home to several different marine organisms and other freshwater forms of life, such as ducks, fish, and frogs. Originally, the Maltese native frog (Discoglossus pictu) inhabited the pond. As the soil is quite fertile it also boasts of a diversity of flora and fauna throughout the year, making it an ecological place of high importance.

From what one can notice, the farming techniques used in the area are on the whole more primitive in respect of another agricultural area, and this may very positive, as contamination of the soil is being avoided. Certainly, the quarrying industry is the most active in the area, with workers depending on it on a daily basis, however, this has not interfered with the natural landscape of the area.

It was an enjoyable day of sightseeing which came to an end after we stayed around to feed the numerous ducks with freshly baked bread bought from a bakery nearby.

  • Kevin and Victor exceeded my expectations. I wasn't sure about the bike tour but I am really happy I did it! We got to see a big chunk of the island from beautiful perspectives, swim in semi-secret spots, learn some history, navigate the streets of different towns without worry -incuding the hills- and have lunch in a beautiful cave! My group was small and great! Kevin and Victor were great, and everything was smooth once the tour was booked. They also picked me up and returned me to my accommodation. Thank you guys!
