I took a 2h tour and Javier the guide is very friendly. I was alone for this tour (low saison) but he accept to make... Instructions to pilot the segway was great (4th time I made Segway, but it's with them that I learned the most).

Best Segway Tour ever! Ask for Peter Checkmate I have to say this Segway experience has been the best one yet. Went on one previously on Malta with a different company but this one stands head and shoulders above them. Me and my girlfriend completely enjoyed the whole experience (it was her first time). The route we went on could have been difficult if the instructor hadn't of been so good, our guide for the experience was Peter Checkmate he was a wealth of knowledge on the area and really made the whole trip from start to finish really enjoyable. It was our highlight of the holiday and would definitely recommend this company especially Peter as a guide. He also took lots of photos and videos and sent to us personally which in my opinion is really going the extra mile for customer satisfaction. Definitely going to be doing it again next time we are back. It was also cheaper and longer than previous company used so a real win win. Thank you again Peter Checkmate and thank you Gozo Segway tours!

Not just for the young ones This is the third time we have been on a Gozo Segway tour with friends and the second time with Javier. We are all pensioners and we loved it. One was quite nervous to start with but Javier gently introduced us to the skills required and in no time at all had us on routes in the countryside that were both challenging and fun. He has a good knowledge of local history and nature. We will be back.

Excellent fun highly recommend 4 of us spent just over an hour having great fun on the Segways. Excellent professional and friendly guidance provided throughout the experience. You start by practicing round a very quiet area, to get to grips with the Segway, learning how to direct, slow down, speed up, stop and get on and off. Then you are on a main road for about 3 minutes before joining the quiet road to the ta cenc cliffs which is quite steep going down, with excellent views. One of party was a bit unsure as we went along and our guide was very helpful checking she was ok and giving extra support. Crash helmet and a bottle of water provided. Be warned it is quite tiring on the legs until you relax a bit! A must do! It was so much fun and we will be doing again on one of the longer tours. Thank you for such a great experience.

Kevin was the best guide we could ask for. He has always taken care of our well-being. We visited beautiful and hidden places. The local dishes were delicious and the bikes were of a very high quality. This tour is highly recommended!

Absolute Empfehlung! Wir waren nach unserer Tour im letzten Jahr heute zum zweiten Mal auf einer Segway-Tour mit Javier unterwegs. Die Touren sind wunderschön und zeigen verborgene Seiten dieser schönen Insel. Dazu ist Javier einfach ein super Guide, voller Wissen, lustig, geduldig und total positiv!
Wir kommen im nächsten Jahr auf jeden Fall wieder und freuen uns schon darauf!

Perfect afternoon excursion! My son and I booked the Segway Tour from Gharb , up to San Dimitri and Wied il-Mielah . It was absolutely beautiful and our guide Javier was so knowledgeable about local history of the area and was very attentive to ensure everyone was able to operate the Segways safely. (Without a close watch I'm sure a few of us would have pushed it a bit and come unstuck). All the segways were in good order and surprisingly not tatty considering the wear the tear they must be subjected to on the dusty rutted tracks of Gozo.

We'll do it again next year !!

Gozo Segway Tour Munxar We had a fantastic experience today on the Segway Tour. Our group consisted of 7 people - our family of 4 and another group of 3. Kevin was brilliant - took the time to make sure we were all comfortable and confident on our Segways before we set off. He was very knowledgable of the surroundings and also had a great sense of humour so the tour was fun. We found using the Segways very easy and even our youngest who was only just able to come on the tour with us managed fine (and had to be reined in a bit as his confidence grew). We would definitely recommend this as a family outing for anyone wanting to explore parts of the island in a different way.

Fantastic fun We had a wonderful, if windy, morning with Javier on this tour. The Segways are such a great way to get about and to explore places that we otherwise wouldn't get to. Javier was the perfect gentleman and his local knowledge of the island and its flora and fauna is fantastic. We loved it, thank you. R and P

Great way to explore Gozo in a friendly atmosphere.

Amazing experience Our pleasant Italian instructor gave us all a basic lesson in Segway riding in the car park in Marsalforn.
We then rode through the picturesque countryside in the valley ending up back where we started.
It was an exhilarating experience and a great thing to do as a group of friends.

Sorry we didn't go My husband and I intended to go on a Segway toward the end of our holiday but unfotunately he was ill. Went to enquire about the tour early on and the guide was helpful and informative and when we go back we will certainly be going

Incredible Tour Incredible Island What can I say. I was recommended this excursion by a friend and did a lastminute enquiry, which was promptly responded to by Kevin. I had to make a quick decision in the morning as to whether I could logistically make the journey, and I am glad I did! My trip started off rough as my ferry from Gozo was delayed in setting off, and so I was late on arrival (sorry again to my other adventurers - Monique and Charles!), but Javier (amazing tour guide) was so professional and accommodating and we soon set off. I was even communicating via email with Kevin who was so kind about the situation - thanks again! Gozo is STUNNING and what better way to view it on a segway. Javier clearly has passion for his adopted country, and it shows. I got to see the beautiful landscape and learn some unique facts. Safety is paramount to him, and he was careful to guide us through some trickier sections. Never felt in danger at any point. Our lunch stop at the bakery was so lovely (the aroma as you enter the street is unmissable), and we even got to be bakers! Such a hospitable island with lovely people - as we were riding cars would politely wait behind us until it was safe to pass, and you’d get a smile from the locals. Would highly highly recommend this tour. My friend visited back in 2019, and clearly the standards have not dropped. Don’t delay, go ahead and book it now!!

Une expérience à vivre ! Lors de notre séjour nous avons eu l'occasion de découvrir l'art du Segway. Ni mon compagnon ni moi même n'en avions jamais fais. Bien que j'étais très angoissée le guide était tout simplement parfait. Il nous a bien tout expliqué, nous a fait faire de petits exercices et nous a ensuite guidé au travers des vallées de gozo. C'était super beau et une manière très originale de découvrir les paysages et les routes quelque peu sauvages 🙂 A faire absolument !

Excellent way to experience Gozo's natural beauty! Being on ebikes to see the natural beauty of Gozo was our best experience during this visit. The turbo powered bikes made the hills seem like a breeze and there's so much to see: caves, canyons, quiet villages and beaches. It was great to be surrounded by countryside and to take a break from the town and traffic. Kevin was super helpful and an absolute pleasure to meet. Highly recommended.

A must do on Gozo Having lived on Gozo for many years we tried something new today and we're so glad we did.
This tour is top notch, excellent Segways, great tuition and above all a number of super routes for different skill levels through the Gozitan countryside. High up to see over the limestone hedges and view the spectacular views.

Highly recommended! We did the Ta' Cenc cliffs route. The views over the whole island were fabulous and the instructor was extremely patient and reassuring with beginners. A reasonable price too. A must do in Gozo!

A fantastic trip (and that’s from a Segway sceptic!) I have always been wary of doing a Segway tour because I thought that I would look (and feel) like a big turnip on one and be a bit of a nuisance to others. Also, escorted tours are not really our thing.

However, I was drawn to Gozo Segway Tours because of the ability to see a lot of sights in a relatively short timescale and the excellent reviews.

And I am so glad that I did - because the tour was brilliant from start to finish.

I booked the 3 hour Salt Pans tour between 9am and 12am. I made an enquiry on their website and everything was easily arranged within a couple of emails. I think they limit the numbers on each tour to small groups and for ours it was just my family of 4.

Javier met us at the agreed spot and made learning to ride the Segway fun and easy. We were on our way within 15 minutes.

The tour was brilliant in every way and we saw so much more than just the Salt Pans. Javier was the perfect guide throughout with excellent insights and he made sure we were looked after at all times.

I highly recommend Gozo Segway Tours & Javier. At 39 euros per person the trip felt like great value and really enhanced our appreciation of this wonderful and intriguing island.

Fantastic tour ... Great day Our second experience on the Gozo Segway Tour yesterday and yet again a really enjoyable and pleasant day full of adventure for the kids, fantastic scenery and excellent tour guide! Keep it up and looking forward for our next tour!

Un super moyen pour visiter l'ile La visite en Segway est un super moyen de visiter Gozo: on se fatigue moins qu'en vélo et on voit plus de chose qu'en faisant le tour à pieds ou en bus. Et en plus on a les commentaires d'un super guide, heureux de partager avec nous les beautés de l'île et ses endroits préférés perso.
Un point à ne pas oublier (et non des moindres), c'est le côté fun du segway. Pour ma part ça s'est moyennement bien passé puisque je suis méchamment tombé dés la première descente, mais Javier le guide a su s'occuper de moi par la suite: il m'a aidé à me sécuriser en me tenant le guidon dans les descentes qui ont suivi (et oui Gozo est une île qui monte et qui descend).
Je dirais donc que la conduite du Segway n'est pas si évidente que ça à maîtriser mais néanmoins ce fut un bon moment car c'est quand même assez agréable à manier.
